I´m a happy owner of a Breadwinner Deacon, second variant with humbuckers, that I purchased in 2003 at a pawnshop in Stockholm, Sweden. The first question: The serial number is E4537, the only information I got about Deacon made 1975-76 is that the serialnumbers got five digits. But mine got only four. Do anybody have any idea about year of production?
Second question: Where to find active electronics to the Breadwinner Deacon? I´m missing the active electronics except pic-ups and controls. Is it possible to get blueprints or originparts from somewhere?

With the serial, you will be able to date your guitar.
You're at the right place!!
I'm sure that someone can help you to find the parts you need for your Breadwinner.
