My daughter's boyfriend wants a starter guitar. I'll have him check it out.

I wish I had this as my first guitar, it would have made things so much more enjoyable.

I need a Legend. No way he's getting one before me. His budget is about $200 and I don't want to get in trouble with his parents if I go over his budget. I want a deep bowl. I have one shallow bowl and although it sounds great, I don't "need" another.
Since I now have a 1537, the only guitar buying I'll be doing for awhile is if I get something that he can buy from me.

Ok. A simple "No, he doesn't" would have sufficed.

Yes. I've reached the point where when one comes in, one has to go out.
I love this guitar, I bought it new in 2003 and it was my first high-end Ovation. But I've been playing mostly acoustic lately and a couple weeks ago a 1777LX followed me home, so I'm offering my like-new 1867-4 at OFC for $670, enough to cover the cost of the LX.
If no one here needs one, it'll go on the bay.

lol! Oh I don't care, it makes it fun. When I put something up on ebay, as long as I cover my costs, I'm happy. I'm not into ebay to make money. I just put it up and let the market decide. Recently, I sold a grateful dead cd that I would've been happy to get $1.00 for which went for $40! I had a winton marselis cd that went for like 26 cents. So you never know ...

I just bid it up. My daughter says she wants a guitar. I'll be gone when the auction ends, so I won't be able to see how high it goes. I assume it will get up there a little more. At least the guitar is now selling for more than the shipping.
