Location: SoCal | Same basic guitar with a few differences. Select AAA spruce vs. AA, walnut fingerboard vs. rosewood, wood binding vs. ivroid, electronics, and a few other small things. Also, the 1537's were built at a different factory (Mooseup? can't recall -- where Adamaii were originally built?). The regular production Elites were built in New Hartford on a standard production line. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I have one of the 1537s posted for sale on Ebay also. I saw the one you're talking about and it's not as nice as the one i am selling. His is listed as a Legend Elite and mine is listed as just an Elite. The previous post was correct in that the 1537 was made at the same place the Adamas was made. As a matter-of-fact, the 1537 was basically the same guitar as the adamas, but with a wood top and without the solid carved headstock. Check out the pictures of the one I have listed. |

Welcome aboard. |

Location: SoCal | Vince, they are not really the "same guitar" (1537 v. Adamas). The top really makes them into totally different animals. But a lot of what was learned on the Adamas was transferred to the Elite and it made the 1537's (and later Elites) great guitars in their own right. |
