Location: Tampa, FL | I've had this guy for about 2 months (still has that minty fresh high tech adhesive smell when you open the case, I'm going to miss sniffing the bowl). Looks much like any other 2005ES and has many (if not all) of the features of any other 2005ES. To be honest, I find that the contour bowl does not fit my style or physique. The shiny neck is OK but I prefer the unfinished neck of my 6591. I'm particularly interested in trading for a mid-bowl (not too thrilled with the idea of a SSB but not for any good reason) 12 string. Particularly interested in an Adamas 1598 or similar (really attached to XLR connections and Optima). |

Anyone want to try a three way exchange? |

Location: Tampa, FL | Just wanted to present this trade as an option in this forum in the event it might fit some else's needs. The 2005ES is a pretty cool guitar, and it sounds really nice with every weight of strings I've tried on it, currently medium gauge. If you are a 'stand-up' kind of player, I think this guitar works better than my 'roundback'. Tends to stay in place while playing. I just find that I don't care to reach over it when playing seated. I wonder if I might have liked it better if the large bout were on the treble side so that I would be reaching over the slim side to play. Then it would probably not someone elses needs. No matter.
As I said earlier, I'm not interested in selling this guitar, just a trade of some sort. |
