Wait unitl 2 minutes before the auction ends and place a bid for the top price that you will pay. Remember that the final auction price may be well below what you bid.

Joined: November 2003 Posts: 76 Location: LewistownPA | Well I got the guitar but unfortunatley I'm not too happy. Although it looks like it's had very little play time (strings are ancient, there's some oxidation on the frets) it also seems that it was stored at full string tension and the top has sunk. The fret board is strait until the neck joint ,then it drops 1/8'' from there to the last fret. Doesn't effect playability (I mean who plays that high on a 12 string?)but I believe it does affect the value and it's not how the guitar was advertised. I emailed the seller asking to either take it back or at least give a partial refund. He told me he didn't realise it because he never plays it (although it's very obvious),and asked how much of a refund. I told him I thought it was worth more like $200 to $250 with that much warping. That was yesterday and I haven't heard back. I'd like some of your opinions on this. Am I right in assuming this is basically (or not worth the cost) unfixable? The rest of the guitar is fine, neck joint is pretty tight and just a little bit of sound board hump beneath the bridge.

Even checked out what guitars he was bidding on to see what he thought could be good deals. Latest purchase is the Custom Elite that should be here by Friday. Never been disappointed in dealing with him.

I know they didn't make a lot of them, but i gotta say i have a 70's applause aa14-4 w/ the aluminum fretboard and i love it. Is the 12 string applause worth having? Thanks

He also has a mess of kids that are in their "high maintenence" years so he won't be buying anything for a while. Welcome!
