well I don't know if there's really a demand for it. In fact ovation would have to deal with the same problems fender got with its jag-stang. this is also a real good guitar but many guitarists don't want to own one in fact they'll be reduced to the music of kurt cobain and nobody wants to hear "hey look here comes the kurt look a like, we're hearing grunge now" on the other hand the ones who didn't care are searching for a vintage one from '84 in fact that dimarzio isn't producing the super 2's anymore.

I own 2 guitars with that marvelous pu's and would never sell 'em. I'm searching for a black gp for one and a half years now, and hell, if I've got the possibility to buy a new one I wouldn't do if these pu's are not included ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the black GP on Ebay right now appears not to have a original bridge....

OK guys, but looking at the pic supersized, it appears that the bridge could be original, but it looks like the guy might have installed it incorrectly. (ie. upside down) What do you think?

well, dusty, this could also be a possibility, but I can't see the screws for adjusting the bridge, that's another minus ;)

but nevertheless, it's a nice guitar. If I'd have the cash I'd buy it.

but what is also funny is, that the price for a gp lowered. ickygoo sold one of his for 2150, the last left for 1800 ( surely it wasn't in mint condition) and now it seems that this black one is too expensive for 1799. perhaps we'll get old prices for them like 1450 or so.

I noticed there isn't much tolerance for any flaws on these. I guess when a $500 guitar is selling for 1700+ the buyers aren't looking for anything less than near mint or better. Of the ones I've bought and sold in the past couple of years most have been like new or at least 9+. It sure is interesting to watch these.

(I'm talking about guitarded here)

This guy is a fraud!
I bought his guitar on ebay (item 7344502787)
I paid him but never got the guitar and he never replied again.

You can see the GP's he owns, his car and his ugly face on the sites mentioned below.

I think I have the right to post this since I lost 2500 (2000 for the guitar + 500 for insurance, shipping etc) to this fucker. He frauded me using this site, so this is the least you guys can do for me.

I can e-mail you my proof of payment if asked.

Beware of the guitars he owns (mentioned in his post). He will probably sell them sooner or later.
