Last weekend I saw these advertised on the World Music Supply website. It made such an impact that I pulled the trigger there and then, and today it arrived direct and fresh from the Ovation factory. This is the model with the adirondack top and it's an absolute gem. I was in the market for a great plugged-in guitar that could also hold its own acoustically. This more than fits the bill.

You're ahead of me, Yoch; mine's #38. Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes, it does seem like one of those guitars that has it all: looks and a great sound!

Congrats to all of you lucky owners of this nice and very special guitar.
Also very nice to see some of them here in the family. I think here in Germany there is no one on the market, because I'havn't seen one yet.

There were only, what, 50 of them built? You may not see one in Germany....

That would be extremly expensive in Europe, if there were really only 10 pieces on the market.
I will look when the first one appears.

Dave, have you got my 2009C No. 120 for registration?

Mine just arrived today, it's #6 out of 50. Beautiful in sound and looks. Action is a bit high though, will probably take it into my guitar guy to set it up for me.

You can remove a shim and lower the action by yourself. There are numerous threads you can search on about it. Chances are the setup is already pretty good on the guitar ... I've found that the action comes high because the factory puts all the shims in there. You may want to pull one or two and set it to your own liking. It's easy.
