The originals band I play lead guitar in, The Chasen Chantz Band, has a gig at "Fuel" in Pioneer Square, Seattle.

There's a band opening for us, then we go on. After the music, the burlesque girls take over. Should be a fun show for sure for anyone that can make it.

Any crossed fingers or wishes for broken lower appendages are appreciated.

BTW, I'll be playin my UKII, Gibson V, and Viper for electrics. The Al Di Meola Custom Legend will be my only acoustic this time. The singer (and real talent in the band) will be playin a 1617... yes I did have something to do with that. :D

You gotta love an advertisement that can gracefully blend Metal Bands and a Tractor show on the same page.

Sure wish I could fly out there, but I didn't break a leg, I broke a wing. Great success to you!

Thanks everyone. Here's the link to the place if anyone can make it.

I'm pretty excited about playing in Pioneer Square. It's the hub of the Seattle music scene. Sure beats the little bars and pubs we've been playing.

Time to change strings...

Just got home, what a great freekin' night! Loads of folks came up, including the staff, and all had really great things to say. My V made it's first stage appearance in 24 years, and we had a great time.

It was really great playing in a real bona-fide club with a real sound system and a real sound man. He was fantastic. We've never sounded better. There was a promotions guy there that's wanting to book us in more places, so that's a good thing too.

Yep on the video, but I'm not sure how it came out. We're headed up to the Olympics in BC tomorrow, so I'll check it all out Monday.

Fun Fun Fun!

Great to hear it went well. Look forward to the video. Yeah, I'd love to play through a pro sound system, although no one's offering me up the opportunity for some strange reason.

Damon, congratulations! Enjoy it all! Here's something that my first agent told me and I have never forgotten it:

"As you climb the ladder of success, be very kind to everyone you meet because you will meet those same people on the way back down"

Great news, Damon! Congratulations on what must have been a great show! Will the video be for sale?

Sooooooooo...when you get all big and famous, can I bring the Peavey I bought from you for an autograph?

Best wishes!

Alan
