Mark me as a definite maybe at this point. I was hoping to load a couple of guitars and kimby-d into the silver bullet and make it a backroads tour. But there's graduations, weddings, and business events backed up all through June until at least the 21st. Then again, I will be really ready for vacation right about then.

Mark, if SWMBO declines, I'll get in touch. A road trip in your van would take me back to my hippie days of the 60's. I'll bring the chips.

Yeah, I heard that on the news the other day. Consumer reports (?) tested a bunch of American coffee and not ONE was rated at "very good" or better. But that is a GOOD thing if you are coming to the Hills. If all the food is lousy (and it is), why not wash it down with lousy coffee? I can offer you the most breath-taking scenery, fantastic music, a bunch of really good people, and a very informative songwriting workshop, but if you want something good to eat, you'll have to bring it with you. :(

Alison, do you have a link or some info on the workshop? It may help convince one or both daughters to attend.

I'm planning to attend. Its probably 50/50 that it actually works out, but I'm hoping.

If I come, I'll be driving from Omaha. Depending on how many of my kids come along, I may have room for a rider or two.

Check out his website. craigcarothers.com. There are links to his songs, bio information, schedules and all kinds of good things. Carig writes songs that are either hilarious or heartbreaking. There doesn't seem to be an in between. Check out the song "Open Mike". It's one of my favorites. There is another song that isn't on the website called Schenechtedy (sp.) that will tear your heart out. Guess you'll have to come to the gathering to hear that one.

Allison, looks like things are coming together. Wish I could make it. Enjoy, and take plenty of pics!
