Location: Ireland | I was watching an episode of Lost last night - my wife made me, I swear! And as you may have already noticed - that is if you admit to watching Lost - that there is an Ovation featured in it. It's owned by a character called Charlie, who is a famous singer/song writer. It looks like a red Balladeer, but I could be wrong about that.
Thing is, it's a great advertising cue for Ovation. I mean in last nights episode this character walked through a rain drenched forest with the guitar strapped to his back (not even in a soft case), fell over on the guitar a number of times, the guitar took an arrow to the fret board - and guess what - it still played in tune in the following scene and it still looked perfect ;) If that doesn't say something about the way Ovation build their(our) guitars I don't know what does!!! ;)
So an Ovation is the perfect guitar to be stranded on a desert Island with - goes with out saying :)
Beal - which smart person in Ovation negotiated that deal?? |

Location: Keene, NH | Yeah - I wanna say it's a Custom Legend (mine looks identical to the one in the show).
And by the way - Lost is actually very good. Watch it all at a time though without commercials through Netflix. |

Something dreadful happens to the Ovation.
Dreadful, yet heroic. |

Location: Ireland | Lost is a TV drama series that my wife is working her way through the box set. Now something terrible happening to the Ovation will be hard viewing. |

| What's not to love about an item that you can use as a food dish, a paddle for your raft, a flotation device (if you put a coconut or figs in the sound hole(s)), body armor, and still use it to crank out a few tunes around the campfire in the evening? |
