other than the AAA spruce vs AA and the single sound hole on the 07..
Anyone know if the 2078LX comes close in sound? |

I have never played a 2078. But like you say the '07C only has the Bass side Epaulet.
Also the 2078 has the OP-Pro Studio preamp which some like better...
The '07C has the VIP which is a interesting unit.
Why do you ask?
Another thing to consider is that you might be able to get an '07C for less than a 2078. |

The 07C (once you have replaced the VIP with a Studio, yes I did that) is a KILLER!!!!!! |

Reason I asked is because I was about to buy the 2078LX but
then reconsidered, thinking if there was a huge difference between the two, I might want to be patient and wait for an '07C to show up.
Instead... I just gave-in to Ovation lust, -again,... and pulled the trigger on the 2010 Limited Elite...
Won't arrive for about 6 days but that's ok......I'll need to find room for it..... |
