Mike, welcome aboard.

Somebody may well have the OpPro or Op20 available used. Double check the inside of the can it fits in to see how many copper tabs are in the little connector in the bottom. The newer preamps have 8 tabs, some of the others have 7 tabs. The 7 tab would likely be what you have if it was an Op20. The Op30 should fit fine in there. The others, such as OpPro, Studio, VIP, and iDea don't drop into that can.

The good news is that you can buy an upgrade kit to install any preamp that you want. The bad news is that they aren't cheap, a few hundred $ new. The upgrade kit comes with a new can to install, which is super easy, and the preamp to drop in.

Another option is to buy a beater guitar off of eBay that has a preamp that you could cannibalize out of it.

Gear thieves are the lowest of the low. Good luck in your search for a replacement.

I would guess (just guessing, really) that with the popularity of the iDea pre-amp, there are some decent deals waiting to be had on pre-amps these days.

The Idea Pre Amp is a nice option and should fit in the can left behind in your guitar...welcome to the club...
