Lovett's Collings sounds amazing to me. Great show, Prine is a national treasure. Can't help but think a nice "O" would add to both Elvis' and Prine's songs.

It didn't interest me when I heard it so I'm just not familiar with him. I have always thought his LOOK was a little off, though. Maybe I just never gravitated toward artists who had a "show" image. So my question is: how does someone like him wind up married to DIANNA KRALL??? I can not for the life of me...

I personally don't like his music. You can be a great musician, but if I don't like your music I won't listen. The only song that he played that I liked is "What's So Funny (about Peace, Love & Understanding)" And he didn't write that! That is not to say that it ain't a good TV show. (Kinda like "Shatner's Raw Nerve"?)

He introduced Sir Elton who introduced Dianna Krall, and at first I thought it was just another show of celebs fluffing each others egos:"you're the best" "no YOU'RE the best" Then I listened to Dianna croon and play the piano, and was mesmerized. I thought it was cool the way they talked (unscripted) of who influenced them and how they write songs etc Since then I have caught a few different shows, and one that really sticks out is the one with Sting. He related how "Roxanne" was actually written with a Latin/rumba kinda beat and evolved into its present version. Every one at one time or another seems to reference "Alison" as inspiring them in one form or another (which gets a bit much) but on the other hand it inspired me to learn the song, which is one of those songs that never sounds the same twice when I play it, depending on my mood
