I used to intentionally throw bad lyrics in if I was playing in front of a bunch of friends just to see the reaction. The ones who knew I was just kidding would quietly snicker but the others would stop the song and correct me. 'Course I would maintain mine were accurate and sometmes I would get backup from another friend which made it all the more fun. My own little Candid Camera routine.

Yeah, I know what you're all thinking but, c'mon, if I don't amuse myself with silly things, who will?

Dean Martin used to do that on his variety show during the (piano in the living room) segment.

One in particular I remember

"Please release me, let me go.
For I don't love you anymore.
To waste our lives would be a sin.
Release me, you know we both are men."
