Location: Upper Left USA		Not a guitar but it was a time consuming project.
Took a Maiden Voyage on my Pygmy Boats Borealis XL today.

Didn't sink and it handles well!

Still have a few spots to redo and some Varnish'n in about a month but it was a good day!



My Grandson helped me install the hatch covers.

Then it was onto the inlet between Port Orchard and Bremerton.

Location: south east Michigan		Very nice Woody.
The St. Clair Flats area is famous for all the old, restored Chris Crafts from the 40's and 50's. Like your kayak, they are a work of art... with the emphasis on "work". It's 3 months in the water then 9 months of elbow grease and varnish to prepare for the next 3 months.

Location: Right now?		Congratulations on that beautiful labor of love, Woody! Wow! I like her name, too. How amazing that you did this with your own two hands, and I think it's wonderful that you got your grandson to help ~ a VERY special life's memory if I've ever seen/heard of one!

Oh, and what the professor said about the leather straps, too.

That's a big body of water for a maiden voyage.

Flotation was guaranteed, comfort would be the only variable.

I live in the middle of this area so not having a craft to enjoy it would be a crying shame.
