Pickups replaced, but claims body is good otherwise.
If you want a Typhoon, $250 is a steal. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | That would be worth checking out. But worth seeing in person. The Photo shows a Typhoon with what look like original pickups, but I don't remember the the single screw of the adjustment ever showing up on the TOP side of the surround. Kinda odd. It looks like the photo is photo-shopped... But still... $250 is a steal if the pickup routing hasn't been messed with. |

will appeal to a smaller audience but might be a great pickup for someone. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I didn't read the actual ad, and now it's gone.. If that was a Fretless, those are awesome. I had a Typhoon Fretless. Very easy to play, very cool. It had fretlines, basically it looked like frets that were just big enough to fit in the fret slots and finished over. So it "looked" like it had frets, until you touched the neck and realized it didn't. The markers really helped make it easier to play without the normal practice that is usually associated with a fretless. Real easy to do long runs up the neck. |
