Location: Loveland, CO | This is one of 3 Ovation Collector's edition guitars I have for sale. The previous owner has passed away and the guitars are in need of new homes.
The '01 is serial number 74. It is in excellent, near mint condition. Always stored with a humidifier in the case. The owner was meticulous about the care of his instruments and he was an avid Ovation collector. I'm giving everyone here at the OFC first crack at these before they go up for sale on eBay.
I'm asking $1050 for this one, which is a bit below blue book. If you have any interest or questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Proceeds go to the previous owner's son (not me) and, of course, a contribution will be made to the OFC.
Here are the other details I have:
-Figured redwood top
-Mid-depth cutaway body
-OP-24 Plus C electronics
-OHSC included
-Certificate of authenticity included

They're solid. And they sound fantastic. This was the guitar that launched my infatuation with redwood tops. Sadly, my 01C was busted in an accident. Luckily I have other "Reds" to assuage my grief. Still, my wife laments to this day that passing of what my kids called "The Tiger Guitar". It was her personal favorite. |
