For Sale: ADAMAS I 2005 RE-ISSUE 1687-8 REVERSE BLUEBURST.

This is my personal guitar Adamas I model 1687-8 from the limited run of 2005 Re-issues. Don't confuse this with the current model 1687GT (and it's $5500. list price), MY guitar is the Real McCoy from 2005 built in limited numbers to the exact specs and details of the original Adamas I. It has the metallic speckled deep bowl and the stereo FET pre-amp with wooden volume and tone controls (the so-called 2-Knobber). This guitar is a classic in every way and has the sound that will knock you for a loop if you've never heard one of these.

If you are reading this thread you KNOW what this guitar is, so I will spare the details. Just do a Search. Condition is virtually Un-played. To be honest I bought it as more of a "trophy" than a guitar to be played. Case is in similar fine condition, maybe a few scuffs just from being stored. If you want to own one of Ovation's finest pieces ... this is it.

Yours for $2450. w/ FREE FedEx shipping in the 48 US states. Will consider reasonable payment plan.

Geez Dave! Considering some of the instruments you've been moving lately, I can't help but wonder what you are up to. You must have something pretty special in your sights if you are letting theese go!

Best of luck with the sale!

Just cleaning house. I have 4 of the these reissues ... three 1687s and one 1581. At some point you just can't play them all.

I recently bought a few Guilds which are nice.

DANG! Dave... Nice guitar!

You would have to pay more than that for a crappy Taylor! Good luck on the sale ... I'd buy it myself, but it's still cold here in Michigan and the propane bill is killing me):
