Hello Ovation fans. I found this board a few months (!) ago and I have been browsing it ever since. It IS a goldmine for people seeking information on their guitar.
Well, first things first. I am French, have been as far back as I can remember and don't plan on changing (too troublesome) and I have owned and played Ovation guitars for more than thirty five years. I currently have a 1982 Custom Balladeer and a 1978 Pacemaker, both electro-acoustic. I also have a 1973 white Breadwinner.
I bought the Breadwinner used and it's a pleasure to play it. The active electronics is alright, but a few things need seeing to, in terms of cosmetics, because its former owner(s) didn't care about it at all. So, at some point or other I may ask for your help, knowledge and advice.
