Hi, guys. If I wanted to emulate pre-EQ shape of OP-PRO, what frequency range would I have to cut/boost? I really love the sound on my Standard Elite and would like to have a similar range on my Standard Balladeer with Op-24. Thanks in advance!

Just guessing... But when the pre-EQ is IN, it is a "smiley-face".
Raise the Bass and Treble... or Lower the Mid.

When the pre-EQ is OUT, it is flat... or the Mid-range is Raised.
Out is for fingerpicking... In is for strumming.
Out is Al DiMeola... In is Melissa Etheridge.

Yep, it's definitely the mid-range - 'the smiley face', I understand. I was wondering which particular frequency range it cuts out. I've been looking out for OP-24+ for age but I haven't found any.... Do you know they have the same pre-EQ shape??

Oh, I was in such a hurry, so I missed out that I wanted to emulate the sound using a pedal equaliser, not the EQ on OP-24, as I've tried different settings already on the guitar but it's just not quite the same.

I suppose you could derive a good approximation experimentally using a frequency spectrum plug-in in Garageband or other software. You could see where the center of the dip in frequency response appears to be when strumming the strings, and how deep the dip is.
