| Hi Everyone I was wondering if anyone can help me I purchased this guitar and it is some kind of custom Ovation It has a Ovation round back fret board and saddle but the top and head stock are not John Budny at Ovation said it was not made in Ct but might have made overseas or after market has anyone have any info on this Thanks Judy |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Jeff W. sent a similar one around several years ago that he picked up in the Philipines or someplace. It also had a lot of ornamental handwork. It might have had a wooden roundback, though. |

| no idea that is what I am trying to find out it origin and what not I am going to take it to my luthier to at least see if the workman ship is real to me it looks like MOP and abalone |

Location: Texas | Hey Jude, don't let me down just kidding... First of all, thanks for sharing your guitar with us. It appears that someone put some time in on it. Not sure you will ever be able to tell its' origin. Bottom line, if you like the guitar and it sounds good...wth does it matter? It certainly appears to have been created to individual tastes...It isn't an Ovation, but that "don't make it bad" So...how does it sound and play? |

| The neck has loosened a bit because the previous owner had it hanging on the wall for 6 years!! Yikes!! So after I have it fixed I will let you know. also you are right I was just curious because it was so different. Will keep you up to date. btw you can keep singing to me!! |
