A huge student (and teacher) of the instrument we all love.

RIP Pete.

I'm stunned. Pete has been my guitar hero since Stephent28 introduced me to him on this site almost 10 years ago. I wrote to his website a few years ago to ask when he would come to Boise again and got a response from his wife. After I received a different CD from the one I ordered a couple of years ago, I received the correct one with a nice handwritten apology from Pete. He seemed like a good friend, talking me through hours of Jim Croce lessons, although I never met him.

Sad news indeed. We have been losing way to many musicians lately. Pete was a talent.

His lead acoustic guitar on "Late Winter/ Early Spring"-John Denver, was the very first acoustic lead I ever learned. His talent was under appreciated by many.

He will leave a huge hole where he used to be. Man could he teach. Phenomenal player, too.
