Hi! I just received my immaculate 1981 Custom Legend 1619-1. The only issue is one missing grub screw, the small one that holds the tone dial on the shaft. Finding the American threads is a pain in Europe. Can anybody help me?

Just knowing the exact size and thread would be an awesome information, I could order it in USA.

I just measured the set screw off the tone knob of my 1624.

If it's the co-ax knob, then it's a 6-32 x 5/16".

McMaster-Carr sells these.

Awesome! After seeing yours, would you choose the flat one?

Edit:

These look like a cup-tip.

YVW.

Just a suggestion, but since SAE-thread set screws are hard to find in Europe, order a few in different lengths. The thread size is 6-32, but you don't want to get one that's too long and have nothing shorter to use.

Alberto, wait a minute!
I'm Bernie from Germany, I've an old single knob unit laying arround. If you want it, drop me a PM with your shipping address.
If I'm in Milano, you owe me a beer......
