Location: Birmingham, AL | I have a 68 Balladeer that needs a little TLC. Since the factory has closed are there any Ovation repair people still in business? |

I believe they're still doing repairs.
If you have contacted JB and they can't handle it, can you provide a few details about the work that needs to be done? |

They're doing repairs with the same people in the same place. Contact John Budny at the email address above and you'll get the work done right. |

Dropped JB a message. There is a crack on my soundhole and it's coming from under the fretboard extension. I can feel the crack on the underside of the top. The guitar is a 68 Balladeer and I've never noticed the crack before. The top has shifted a little along the crack and it follows the top grain. I suppose it needs to be reinforced. The top isn't caved in anywhere just has the crack.
I also wanted to lower the action but the bridge saddle is just about as low as it can go so maybe the neck could be reset? I am not sure the neck can be reset.
