Location: Los Angeles, CA | Hello. The case of my Adamas II is really showing it's age. I'm the third or fourth owner of said Adamas. I'm wondering which case I should get to replace it. Since it just travels in the back of my car with usually nothing else to bang against it, I'm curious if a soft case will be enough for it. It's obviously cheaper and lighter than a regular hard case so that's the main reasons to get one of those. Thanks... |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I actually prefer the hard foam soft-sided cases because they're easier on furniture, door jams, auto upholstery, amp tolex, and anything else the case might bang against in transit. Been using several for years and they hold up pretty well considering their use. |

I have managed to kill one of them, but it took a coupla years.
And I use them to go out on my bicycle to play everyday (that I take an Ovation).
You can get one HERE for $70.
But I will add that this case is a snug fit for my Deep Bowl 1681 Adamas (1998), but it works.
And it works well for all mid-depth, and you can put an SSB in one of these also.
