I really like this multi-media show that she's doing these days. It looks like she's going to tour Europe soon. There's a last show in NYC this Saturday...maybe I can persuade the wife to go to NYC this weekend. She really ought to come up to Connecticut and do a show sometime (hint hint Dave). There are several places like New Haven near Yale or Jorgensen up at UConn where I'm sure she would draw a crowd.

I bought a couple of his albums that I never listen to. I have one of Kaki's albums that I listen to occasionally. Bob, I also went to a flamenco show in Spain and thought it was great. I appreciate good guitar playing in different genres than what I would listen to, except for heavy metal. I've even grown to like country music, which used to be on the bottom of my list until Rap came along.

I think that (c)Rap music caused many people to appreciate real music in general. ![]()

Jimmer, in response to your question about upcoming shows, she's headlining a festival in Kingston N.Y. in early October: http://opositivefestival.org/9297/sondre-lerche-kaki-king-to-headli... If I'm not mistaken, Kingston is pretty much due west of Hartford and fairly close to the state line. Hopefully, you'll be able to check it out. Old Man Arthur and d'ovation, you are correct in identifying the white guitar as her Adamas 1581kk. She uses it for all live performances as well as commercially produced videos. However, she told me that she is very pleased with her new Ovation signature model, and described it as a "really nice guitar". Best to all-- Dave King Kaki's dad
