  | I have had an Ovation Viper Solid Body since around 1980, my first grown-up electric.

I am now looking to reduce my collection and rarely use the Ovation, so I think I need to let it go and I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed based on interest in complete guitar / parts.

The basic guitar is a Tobacco body, with maple neck and fretboard, original pickups, tuners and Schaller bridge in place.

However several decades of abuse have left their mark.

1 - neck is scalloped above 12th fret.
2 - humbucker pickup has been installed between single coils and now removed . Piece of black plastic covering where it was.
3 - Pots replaced with 500 K, switch replaced with one per pickup.
4 - Few dings but overall cosmetics not bad.

Guitar has good neck, nice action, sounds good.

Any advice suggestions, most welcome. |
