Instrument appears to be in Japan. Anybody know the history on these guitars? I have constructed a couple of resonators from Ovation carcasses, but don't think I've seen MotherShip models. |

Location: Pueblo West, CO | I I saw one of these at a guitar show in Costa Mesa a couple of years ago. I can't remember how much the guy was asking.
I just remember I wasn't overly impressed with the generous use of MOTS. Interestingly, it was the same guy from whom I bought my 1717 and Daren's Aspen AD35.

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | I stand corrected, & admit my memory is sadly failing. I posted to that discussion, apparently, though it was 11 years ago. I would agree with Dan about the MOTS treatment. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | I am going to guess that that white one was made overseas, and who knows how many were made. Definitely was made after 98. That is a celebrity (or something) fingerboard termination. The ones we made in CT had the classical end. There was a white MOTS (I think) and that blue one, a silver? and the clear orange one that I still have. There have been some since then but probably not many. |

Assuredly. As the OFC is approaching it's 20th anniversary in 2022, we should consider some type of celebration event. How 'bout we all descend on Six String Ranch, and do our best rendition of "gypsies in the palace"? |
