It's early July. In past years I'd already be hypeing & hawking the calendar. This year I don't want to, and by now I would hope I don't need to, play the part of a carnival barker to make this thing work.
You guys & gals know the deal & you know the type of quality product Designzilla puts together. For folks who have joined us in the past 8 months, this project helps with some of the club expences. Keep your radar up upcoming announcements.

We had whole bunch of good photo submmisions last year. There are probably a few we can use for this year. But it would be nice to have some fresh ones to choose from. (Povation.... are you listening??)

Note: To hold true to tradition, Woody has dibs on serial #1.

Please send them to me. BPBDS@COMCAST.NET
I'll forward them to Designzilla.
As far as format, .jpg is the easiest to work with but I think 'zilla can deal with any format. (He's a trained professional ya know.)

The most important thing the picture size. Use the highest resolution on the best camera you can get your hands on.
Take em big.
Leave em big.
Send em big.
The calendar pics end up 8-1/2 x 11. If you make the pic small before you e-mail, they will loose the resolution that is needed.

And for the new members.... We only print what we have paid orders for. Ya snooze, ya loose.

Brad,
I love you man! If I was to have any more children I would name them after you!

Of course if I had any more children it would be a slip... and my Wife would kill me (our nest is nearly empty).

I will plan some photo ops and send a CD to you.

Lighting!
Focus!
Framing!
Location!
No chords or wheel barrows in the shot!
Completely disrobe and use flash when photographing reflective objects!

I AM a highly reflective object. Especially disrobed. Think, Pink Mirrorball.

And let's be honest - it takes a real effort to ignore Paul when he enters the room.

Wow.. I already have some good photos!
But please... as proud as you are of them please resist posting them here. It kinda spoils the surprise.

The July 2007 pic is from the Nor-east gathering last year. There has to be a least a couple good stories from the folks who were there.

Rookies,
I sent in the pictures from the tour on Monday after I got home from the tour. I even gave Brad my pictures on DVD the morning after Stonge's party. :D :)

Somebody asked, in this thread, about the picture for July. That was taken last September at an OFC gathering in New Jersey, at the home of Amy, Kim's girlfriend. A great time was had by all.

The big picture was the more civilized of those taken.....

Before anybody asks, from left to right it's

Phil, Temp, Phil, unknown, Jeff, Mitch, Jason, me, John B., Al, Beal, Clifford, Tup, and Kim.

I really wanted to use the other picture, but I thought that was the submission for the Taylor calendar!
