Silly me, I always thought that was a sign for satan... Hence all those little Italian Mama's spitting in between the horns to ward off bad juju!

The owner of a music store ordered it as a unique gift for his mandolin playing attorney. The gift was appreciated, but would not have been played, which is how I became its caretaker. We asked Adirondack at the time for a price and they wrote back, $1430 w/case (on order). Rarely, they come up used on ebay (or at one of the specialty shops) in the $800-$1000 range. Can you control your Mando-Gas long enough until one shows up again?

What you say chimes with the others - the one on the bay now at $2400 just didn't seem right at all. I'd buy a new one but it's a long wait - so I'll wait twice as long for a used one. I'm stupid that way. Guess I'll just have to play my 13 course lute 'til a measly little 8 stringer turns up  :D
