The thumb is in, over the middle and ring fingers.

Your thumb is out... which is, "I Love You", in American Sign Language.

Gee, isn't that the sign that the Bush Klan, daughter and daddy, were flashing as they stole another election?

Silly me, I always thought that was a sign for satan...
Hence all those little Italian Mama's spitting in between the horns to ward off bad juju!

Sorry I digressed Schroeder...

I bought mine in '05 for $955 delivered. I lucked out. It was a new model with OP50/XLR. The owner of a music store ordered it as a unique gift for his mandolin playing attorney. The gift was appreciated, but would not have been played, which is how I became its caretaker.

We asked Adirondack at the time for a price and they wrote back, $1430 w/case (on order).

Rarely, they come up used on ebay (or at one of the specialty shops) in the $800-$1000 range.

Can you control your Mando-Gas long enough until one shows up again?

I'm sure I can - and I was only joshing about "the other stuff".

What you say chimes with the others - the one on the bay now at $2400 just didn't seem right at all.
I'd buy a new one but it's a long wait - so I'll wait twice as long for a used one. I'm stupid that way.

Guess I'll just have to play my 13 course lute 'til a measly little 8 stringer turns up  :D

I don't know...just the other day someone was talking about how cosmically in-tune this Board can be.

Or was that comically in-tune?
