Location: North Idaho | Just a few blocks from our Moscow house, an ambush shooting occurred at the courthouse and sniper moved into nearby Presbyterian church. The police declared 'all clear' this morning around 9:00am with one policeman killed, others wounded, and two bodies in the church. Details coming out slowly, but a lot of rounds fired. Very sobering, considering this is the first shooting of a Moscow policeman in the line of duty. Fortunately for our family, we were all out of town celebrating a neighbor's graduation. Prayers and sympathy to our friends and neighbors victimized by this tragedy. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | We've been trying to get ahold of our daughter up there. She's probably out camping, fortunately. I don't get why anyone would be at the courthouse on a Sunday morning. News is pretty sketchy here, too. |
