My case gave it up years ago, and mine doesn't look to be in nearly as good of shape as that one, but that's a Matrix. Wouldn't even think about buying one of those without seeing a bunch of in-focus close-up shots of the frets. | ||

Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12761 Location: Boise, Idaho | They are actually quite good. I think the sound is representative of any deep bowl Ovation, but has a little more of a twang to my ears. I attribute that to the aluminum fretboard. The frets (ie the fretboards) are not practically replaceable. I figure mine is worth $100 and it has no finish cracks or fretware. I won't sell it, though, because if was a wedding present from my wife. Maybe if she divorces me for buying too many guitars I'll get rid of it for less than that. | ||
