Yesterday was 6 lbs of Snow Crab legs and claws (reheated and seasoned crawfish style). Tomorrow will be Baby Back ribs with a excellent knock-off of TGI Friday's Jack Daniel's sauce.

Plans changed...we went to the local minor league (Great Lakes Loons) ball game this afternoon. With the freaking 30mph wind, it was easy to forget we were sitting in the sun for many hours (lawn seating rules anyway!).

Wound up BBQing some chicken breasts, made some of that cucumber and onion with the sour cream and vinegar dressing stuff and basically just scrounged for sides. The beer was good and cold and the company (Sally and the younger two boys) was exquisite. ;)

It just goes to show...you don't always have to have the expensive cut of meat to have a good dinner. Heh.

CrimsonLake,
Yeah. My daughter found it at copykat.com and made some last week to put on some grilled boneless chicken breasts. Just like the real thing! I do think she did a 'lil tweaking of their recipe tho. i taught her well.

Today, it's marinated Ahi Tuna steaks.

We were too busy with side projects t'cook anything, yesterday. At the end of the day, we poked around the freezer and were deLIGHTed to find a container containing two leftover SeafoodEnchiladas ala' Templeman!
MUY Bueno!!!

ThanksAgain, Mate!!!

Finished it off with a couple Dark & Stormy's (Myers' DarkRum, GingerBeer, FreshLime).
y'Listening, Al??

Remember, maybe not celebrate.

That's why I prefer our choice of the 11th hour of the 11th month of the 11th day. (Anniversary of the end of WWII) It's usually cold, miserable, and wet at the cenotaph. Everyone comes away remembering why, and in a right proper mood.

Then we get drunk.

Actually fillhixx, It was WWI.

The armistice treaty between the Allies and Germany was signed in a railway carriage in Compiègne Forest on November 11, 1918, and marked the end of the First World War on the Western Front.

The Armistice was agreed at 5 AM on November 11, to come into effect at 11 AM, Paris, France time (for which reason the occasion is sometimes referred to as "the eleventh of the eleventh of the eleventh").

CLMike,
Glad everyone enjoyed it. Hard to go wrong when sour mash is involved!
The baby backs were a big hit here also.

Phil,
Up. Had a BBQ at the top of the mountain Saturday after the race. Nice up there in the summer when hardly anyone's around.
