Location: SoCal | If you go to about 2 1/2 minutes into this video (altho' the whole thing is great), you'll hear the very first time I ever heard a 1537 acoustically. I was blown away by the tone and resolved to find one (pre-ebay). It took me 5 more years....

All those late night jam sessions with John, Benny Martin, Roy Huskey, Jr.; and to think they are all gone now. Just a nice morbid reflection on a Sunday morning...Back In The Goodle Days.
As I've said before, my 1537 is still the loudest and sweetest-sounding axe I own. Thanks to Moody for getting me into that gassy deal, too. I mean that with all my fa...whoops...heart. |
