Yo! . . . all you Michiganders!!

I'm listening to the local NPR station here in my office and they're interviewing actor (and unbeknownst to me, singer/songwriter) Jeff Daniels.

He's promoting his first CD ("Live/Unplugged").
Very much along the lines of Arlo Guthrie/Loudon Wainwright III . . .

Proceeds from the album go to benefit the PurpleRose Theatre in his hometown of Chelsea, MI.

Thought y'might be interested . . . .

Isn't that where the term "coyote ugly" came from?

Ya wake in the mornin', see what's sleepin' next to ya with your arm under under her.
So ya chew your arm off at the elbow to get out without wakin' her!!!

Sometimes the worst thing is sobering up too fast. I have no personal experience, that's just what someone told me.

Back to Jeff Daniels....I live about 30 miles east of Chelsea.....been there many times. I just missed seeing Jeff at our local Barnes and Noble a while back, he was there to promote the aforementioned CD earlier in an evening when my wife and I were there.

You know, This projects not bad. It's live with one studio cut. and the audience really seems to be having as good a time as jeff is.
It's just a songwriter giving a show for a good cause.I know he seems to have a heck ofa guitar collection already but,Someone give the guy an Ovation!!!
