Joined: May 2004 Posts: 2850 Location: Midland, MI | I discovered recently (like two minutes ago) that Applesauce also made a limited run of 6-string geetars with the palm tree cutouts and koa top. Even more recently (like a minute ago), I found out that there was a limited run of the limited run that had a Now, my wife is seriously going to kill me, but man...a matched set? That'd whip the lama's ass. Anyone seen either of the other two items? Any information available? EDIT: Breaking news...just found this! This is the Ovation Celebrity Deluxe model # CP744-4K, parlor size koa top acoustic electric. 40 pieces were made exclusively for Hawaii, very limited. There was also a matching acoustic electric soprano ukulele, model # UAE24-4K. You could possibly still find one: Oahu: * Music Mac (Aiea, Kaneohe) * Easy Music (Honolulu) * GoodGuys Music (Honolulu) Hawaii: * Mele Kai Music (Kona) * Music Exchange (Waimea, Hilo) Maui: * Bounty Music (Kahului) Kauai: * Scotty's Music (Kalaheo) I hope this helps. If you can't find it, lemme know, I've got it archived(somewhere)and I'll rePost it. This thing was SaWEEET!. Master Templeman and I were so enamored with it that we considered ThomasCrown'ing it . . . ;) Upon further consideration, we figued that we'd THEN have to contend with killing one another off (which would be a stupid waste of time and energy . . not to mention exceedingly "messy"), and respectfully restrained ourselves. I honestly think that they should consider putting out a Limited tun of those . . . It'd be a pretty "fun" guitar (say whatchu' will Al, but the friggin' ParrotHeads'd love 'em:-) Even do it along the lines of the MOB's . . How are those things "doing" anyway?? s'Anybody know? I haven't really seen any anywhere . . . Temp; you sellin' any?? Al? . . . . . . . . | ||
