Not a bad idea to have an extra one but they may be available from the factory later as several of the reissues will use them. So, I will wait.

I sold an identical setup (minus the walnut knobs) a few months ago for more than 3x what this guy is asking. Big demand in Japan. Michael needs to install this in his adamas blue ukulele. Dave

I'm pretty certain that the factory has these now. And from what I was told at NAMM, the new ones are slightly better sound-wise than the old ones. I plan on putting a new one in my 1537 as the old one is now 22 years old, then keep my old one as a back up. Knowing that new units can be purchased thru Ovation, I don't know why anybody would buy an old one on ebay.
