After getting a vintage Country Artist, a newish (1995) CA 6773, and a spanking new 12-string Lengend LX, I really need to get a Folklore.

I've been high bidder, for about a week, on a 6774 that appears to be in the same era as the 6773. It will auction at 9pm tonight. Wish me luck

I'll take it off my watch list, Leo. Good luck. It's a beautiful guitar and right now at a price too good to pass up. Just be ready to make a last minute bid if you really want it and the price still within your own "good value" range.

You'd better get it so you can keep your screen name ... Country Artist and Legend-LX are already taken. ;)

OK, I'm just going to "gush" for a while :D .

I just set up the Folklore 6774 last night. I took one of the 3 (original) shims out from under the saddle and put extra light strings on it. I usually play light strings but wanted to see how fast I could make the action. To take care of the ONLY problem with the guitar I put a little piece of a toothpick in the slot for the d-string at the nut. Took care of the buzz on the d-string when played hard. Sergio said a bit of super-glue to the slot will fix it permanently.

Wow. Acoustically, this guitar is a big surprise. It really rings out both finger-picked and flat-picked. I played it through the OP-X pre-amp the night I got it and it sounds wonderful. But I can't wait to see how it sounds and feels plugged in with the new setup, and to see how it feels at a gig.

Roger (Old Applause) Huffmaster is supposed to stop by the library today so I brought the Folklore for him to check out. Man, this plays so nice with the extra lights I may leave them on. Sergio would love this guitar. I don't think its been played more than a few times. There is not a single scratch on the top. Not even any pick wear.

Gush, Leo!

Congratulations again.

The Folklore is a great guitar, a great slothead cutaway.

Please give us a report after the gig.

Serge ;) :p   :D

My buddy, Clark Byron, special ordered a left handed Folklore. Got it with a gloss neck and gold tuners. Says that he doesn't pick up anything else these days, it's so good.

Leo should gush....he got a winner with that Folklore....it's in absolutely wonderful shape. Plays really nice with the .010s on it. May have to rethink my using .012s, would be nicer on my fingers!!!

I brought my Melissa Etheridge 12-string for Leo to try....nice to see someone that can really PLAY it(as opposed to little ole chord-wacker me)......
