I asked John Bundy,(at the factory) that very same question, if he would send me one if I was working on a head stock overlay and needed to cover up the factory one... He said he would send one out...

Location: Upper Left USA | I'm guessing: Watermarks are calcium deposits and should be lifted by a slightly acidic medium such as a citric cleaner or white (distilled) vinegar.
I know: Customer Support can provide all kinds of odd parts and insignia. Got a gold one to redo the Viper. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Would the stuff you use to take the oxidation off "gelcoat" (binary resin compound in fiberglass layups) work? I think if you put some Armor-All on it; it might neutralize the streaks, too.
BTW, looks like you're making good progress, Stephan!
Hang in there, and go slow. |
