Going price seems to be $319.00 every where else... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3766867060 I tried every amp at Guitar Center and the Fender Acoustics seem to sound the best... Had the most controls... I hope to use XLR, and seperate mike controls and I wanted an Amp with those features... I also like the tilt back feature built in to the design!!! AB

Lots of features, nice design, and enough power for my purpose. I don't know if it has enough power to gig with but it fills up my living room just fine.

Product Description This new amp, an upgraded version of Fender's popular Acoustasonic 30 features digital effects including Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Vibratone, and more, all optimized especially for acoustic performers. Each of the amp's two channels provides FX Select and FX Level control and onboard feedback reduction gives you the finishing touch to your professional overall sound. The Acoustasonic 30 DSP is powered by a 30-watt amp driving an 8" speaker and a tweeter. Other features include a built-in tilt-back angle, phantom-powered XLR mic input, and more. With more than a year spent on research and development, the new Acoustasonic 30 DSP now feature handcrafted Digital Signal Processing effects that combine the clarity of Fender’s Acoustasonic Series with the versatility on board digital features to offer musicians a complete palette of acoustic possibilities. New DSP effects include Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Vibratone, and more, all of which are specially designed and optimized for acoustic performers. Features 16 DSP Stereo Effects Per Channel 3-Band EQ in Instrument Channel Exclusive "String Dynamics" Control (Gives a Bright Tone Without the Harshness of Pick Transients) Piezo/Instrument Input in First Channel Low Impedance XLR MIC Input in Mic/Line Channel Phantom Power Supplied at XLR Input Line Out Footswitch Jack Tilt Back Wedge Cabinet Design Closed Back Technical Description Type: Solid State Output: 30 Watts Ohms: 8 ohms Speakers: 1-8 in. Fender Special Design Foster/Culver®, 8 ohm, 50 watt Speaker, 1 Piezo Horn Channels: 2 Channels, (Instrument and MIC) Controls: Instrument Channel (1): Input, Volume, Phase Switch(Helps Eliminate Feedback When Playing in Small Venues,) Treble, Mid, Bass, String Dynamics: (Gives a Bright Tone Without the Harshness of Pick Transients,) FX Select, FX Level MIC Channel (2): XLR Low Impedance Input, Volume, Phase Switch: (Helps Eliminate Feedback When Playing in Small Venues,) Treble, Bass, FX Select, FX Level Covering: Brown Textured Vinyl with Wheat Grille Cloth Weight: 34 lbs. (15.4 kg) Dimensions (H x W x D) 15 3/8 x 19 3/8 x 14 5/8 in. (39 x 49 x 37 cm) I don't think there is a better sounding, Acoustic Amp, with all those features, for around $300... Maybe Fender knows a thing or two about making amps, they claim to make more than anyone else, probably beacuse they have been doing it longer han anyone else... The only other amp I would like to try is Ultrasound... But being a smaller company, I doubt I'll fifn one in a showroom to be played, but I will look. AB

When my kids move out and I can reclaim some space in the house - this is first on the list of returning items! And IMHO the Ovations sound amazing through it... Dano
