I was just sitting on the couch playing with my eyes closed. It felt peaceful. I went into the other room and my wife said, "You play so much better when you don't think anyone is listening."
Maybe, in my mission to learn to play for others, I'm just trying to hard.

I was told that I play better when nobody can hear it. I'm still working on that one....

I think you have a point slipkid, sometimes we do try too hard.

I was told I play better when i am pissed off.

Once we were doing a gig and right before we did a tune sue came over and said in my ear "now make sure you get some real good feedback at the end of that solo" that is when I knew I married the right one.
