A co-worker has an Alverez Yairi model Y1000, made from Cypress wood and purchased fo her in 1970. She barely played and says it has suffered some over the years, including a major front dent that was repaired by a ukelele Luthier.
She says the rosette has the Olympic Rings around it. I would like to find any resources (Yairi Fan Club, vintage specialist, etc.) to put this instrument back into an appreciated condition.
Any ideas? |

Put a post up on the AcousticGuitar BB as well.
There are a lot of luthiers that participate on there, and some may be able offer some insight/assistance . . . |
