This is the same as the "O" that I own. I must really love this guitar because my inner self thinks that I should own another one. I truly must be out of my mind. Anyhow, who can tell me the true market value of a "near mint"(per seller) 1996 collectors series O, which just so happens to be the most expensive ovation collectors series guitar to date. Thank you all
Adam

Shouldn't they be worth more than that?
I thought that it was a very limited run.

Not sure exactly how many were made. I paid $1400 for mine new. I think about 6-7 people on this board have them. I've seen them go on ebay from around $700 to $1500 depending on who wants it. Beautiful guitar cosmetically, but nothing special sonically.

OK ... so I'm confused. When you were talking about the 30th Anniversary, I assumed it was the "book" guitar. But I couldn't find the one on eBay ...

Low and behold, I finally find it ...

30th Anniversary on Ebay

So, there were two different 30th Anniversary guitars? One a collectors edition, the other a ... uh ... limited edition?

standingovation wrote that this guitar is nothing special sonically. I was wondering what some would consider to be most sonically superior among ovation/adamas instruments in general (considering it's very strongly based on individual tastes).
