Location: Massachusetts | I can't figure this out. Don't see him on the Ovation website as a user.
I bought my Ovation because he uses them and I like his sound.
He has been using Legends since at least 1979 and has always had an Ovation in his hand anytime I've seen photos of him and live.
Does he have to tell Ovation to use his name? Maybe he doesn't want them to list his name?
Look at his Legend in this photo from last year. It looks blue here which is an awsome color but if it is the same one he used in 96 it really is sort of greenish. Still an awsome color and I'd love to have one in this color...custom order nowadays it seems.

Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | i met ray's brother on a flight from lax to puerto vallarta. i got a free bump to first class because they needed my seat for standby. johhny davies is involved with promotion of rolling stones tours, and when not working flys between two of his homes in england and puerto vallarta. he was by far the most fun person i've ever met on an airplane. i would have thought his worst fear would be to be stuck next an aging back water bar musician, but he was totally open and cool. we took good advantage of the unlimited liquid breakfast options, and the flight seemed to take half the time.
have you met him paul? |

Location: Scotland | I haven't. I met Ray Davies in a bar in Austin years ago but there was Tequila involved so it's all pretty much a blur. |
