My daughter, Adamas Artist Kaki King, has a new cd being released by Epic in early October. This is the first media review that I've seen:

Best regards to all and especially best wishes to Al.

For those in the Seattle area, Kaki is playing the Bumpershoot festival which is outstanding. Great exposure at one of the coolest events. This is a real must-see event, but unfortunately we are heading back east just before it starts :( .

Great article, thanks for the link.

I didn't know that Kaki played drums as well, that's really cool.

All the best to her with the new CD!

Be well, Dave!

Dave,

Went out and found her other (first) CD over lunch - am giving it the first listen right now; it's a great first effort, some nice tunes and great technique for someone her age. Congratulations to both of you.

Dave,
Great review! Can't wait to hear the finished Project when it comes out! The last release was outstanding. I know you're proud.
So when is she coming to NC??

Did anyone see the performance at Bumbershoot?

The timing of our vacation put us between all the cool Northwest events as in before or after the event. Missed Bumbershoot, Pullyap Fair and Kitsap Fair to say the least... But had a good time just the same.
