If interested, someone should ask if it's all original, make sure there's no hole on the front of the bridge. | ||

Joined: March 2002 Posts: 15678 Location: SoCal | It was the 95 that had the "front of bridge" mic, not the 94. But this guitar is one of those two, not a Celeb. Except for that one feature, both are very similar. The rosette on the 94 was a little fancier (MOT) but also very similar. But the rosette in the pic looks like the 95. Bill could be right and it could be a 95 that's had the bridge mic taken off. Easy way to find out is to aske the seller what it say on the label. Or is that too easy? At least it seemed easy to me when I emailed the seller. I'll let you know. | ||

Joined: August 2002 Posts: 8307 Location: Tennessee | Yup. I have a friend with a '94 ... this is it. Optima preamp, interesting bridge shape, interesting fretboard. Great spruce top, shades of bearclaw. The bowl, a strip of the binding and a bit of the rosette inlays are a wine color. Nice ebony headstock, gold tuners with ebony knobs. The colors sound a bit strange, and to a traditionalist they surely are, but I like the way the colors all came together -- in a he-man way of course. ;) It plays wonderfully. Great volume, nice neck. If you can deal with the color pallette, it's a great guitar. | ||

I'm still lusting for this one... Yes, GAS "again" and I have a kid going off to school... Mama's not going to be happy. Woz PS. AL P... The W597T made a great send off present to URI.
