The Germany distributor of Ovation has relaunched its web site.

www.ovation.de

There's some interesting stuff, e.g. a few 70' Ovation catalogs to download. You can also download a song called "Adamas" from my guitar teacher Ralph Flinn.
Enjoy it!

Hey Kid-School...

I heard that tune 'Adamas' on that site..

Do you have a CD title for that one? I've searched alot of US CD websites and can't seem to locate the title..

I wonder if a transcription of that tune is available?

thanks, ernie

I wonder why the site's portal to Adamas features a center sound-hole guitar.

Well, it's a centre-hole Adamas, so they got that much right, but the centre-holes Adamas models have been discontinued.

Note that the German distributor offers a deep-bowl, no cutaway version of the Balladeer Special(I would love to try one), plus there is no version of the Standard Balladeer, Standard Elite, Legend and regular Custom Legend that is not LX.

Ernie,
yes, there is a transcription of the 'Adamas' tune (TAB version). I just contacted Ralph for a copy. When I've got it, I will send it to you per email. Anybody else interested?

I'm not sure if the CD is available yet. I will send you the information how you can order one.
