A man down the street who know that I am a musician, has been telling me about this "little guitar" he has had for the last 20 years. He finally brought it to me today and it is a Suzuki Mandolin Model #90. Does anyone know anything about these instuments? The history, value etc? Thanks'
Dan

Most Suzuki instruments were educational and therefore of utilitarian quality. Meant to last and teach but not set the world standard of excellence, which also made them affordable to the customers, an important point!
