Hey guys:
Anyone know anything about the Ovation Ultra line? My understanding is that they are (or were) made overseas. However, this one has a made in USA sticker on it. Whats up with that? I think the real question is, will this guitar sound good? I'm used to the quality sound of the Legends, Elites and Adamas guitars.
Thanks for your input.

There are other posts on this. I think the neck was made overseas and the body and assembly was here.

I believe there is a new Ultra model completely made-in-Korea now.....saw it at a Ovation dealer 3 weeks ago...said they had just gotten it in, it was obviously new.

Ultra's were originally built from '83 to '96. The name has recently been brought back. They were pretty much the bottom of the USA built line, using overseas parts as CWK2 said. They probably weren't built in Conn., but in N. Carolina as I'm told. Soon after, circa '84-'85 manufacturing transfered to Korea.
What model & serial # do you have?
