Seriously, if I had more guitar funds, there would be a lot of non O's in my collection. But since I don't, I play the guitars that appeal to me the most. Witko's rich. I'm not.

I'm not "rich", but I do have a back door to sneak guitars into the house without my wife seeing them (until someone leaves incriminating voice mails)

Forget all the engineering BS, I just think they LOOK better. I guess I'm just a "single hole guy in a multihole world". At least as far as guitars are concerned ...

They each have their own qualities and each have their own place. Not all Martins are crap like some Ovation bigots would lead you to believe. Just like not all Ovations are plastic pieces of junk, as some Martin owners would claim. Maybe with Ovation you get 95% of the sound for 50% of the price. Many would consider that a great deal, I would. But some people aren't looking for a just great deal. I still claim the best value (sound) for the money is the Taylor Big Baby at $399. And THAT doesn't get any respect at all.
